Oh, interesting, about the Bible! I'm not a Bible person also, but, this is definitely an interesting thought.

And about territory, I think it's true. If I invade their territory in a harmful way, then, I'm a problem. If I keep my own territory, then, why do they mind?

And, yes... I think it's so. With the idea of kami, something can definitely be explained by natural laws, but also have a magic. There's not a feeling that "something magical" needs to belong completely to another world of spirits, like we think. It's about the effect it has on people... if it has a magical effect, it's magical, even if it also has a natural explanation.
