Artslam week 2!
So, honestly... I have not done a lot for this week, haha. owo; I had two days where almost I have done nothing but sleep (maybe I'm getting sick?), there was Tanabata and the July 4th fireworks (and I wanted to spend most of that time taking pictures of fireworks which was not very challenging)... so... it's just been a busy week.
But, I did get more pictures that I liked, this time! It's just that I didn't take one every day.

These are from the same photoshoot, obviously. They're not different "color effect" filters, but, just different exposures. The street lights in the park made a light leak in the second one.

Your tired, your poor, your huddled masses. Things that July 4th is not really about.

This is not a firework... it's the smoke after the firework! It's hard to capture this, but, I got one lucky shot, so I turned up the contrast and I think it makes a really lovely picture.

This is my favorite. I don't know why, but it is. It just came out exactly like I wanted it, and it captures the atmosphere of the evening so well. It really has a feeling of nostalgia and celebration to me...

And that last one has gorgeous lighting and colors. Perfect.

And the third one is strangely haunting and creepy. All the half-seen people! It reminds me of someone trying to look under the veil at a celebration, or something. Or maybe from the other side of the veil looking at our celebration. I think it's the little bits of glowsticks one can see in the masse that does it.
I also just generally love the light in all of these. It's so hard to capture the gloaming light in photos, and these get it really well!

One day, I will walk through a heavy forest in the very early morning. I think that would be an amazing experience.
