Sometimes I worry that being otherkin / therian means doing that to symbols and animals. :\ Partly because I see other people treating them that way. I try to be careful about it though. And I especially see examples of this trying to own other people thing on Not Always Right. >.>
I wonder what society would have to look like in order to make it not like this.
